CLUB RULES
SON SERVERA GOLF CLUB
PREFACE CHAPTER
MEMBERS, RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
Article 1- All members of Son Servera Golf Club have the right to use and enjoy the
golf course and its facilities, except for supporting members, who are only
authorised to use and enjoy the club's social facilities.
They also have the right to promote and practise the sport of golf as players
authorised by the club.
Article 2- The exercise of said rights is subject to compliance with the basic rules,
the statutes and the regulations of the Club, as well as the decisions taken by the
Board of Directors and those of the Club's employees in the performance of their
duties.
Article 3- Club members, regardless of the type of membership, are obliged to pay
the regular fees in force at any given time, as well as any extraordinary fees that may
be decided.
Article 4- Special facilities that are not for general use, such as lockers, racket
room, maintenance of electric trolleys, courses, etc. may be charged separately.

Article 5- The Board of Directors may expel any member who, after receiving a
reminder and analysing the situation, fails to pay the regular or extraordinary fees
due on time.
Article 6- Club members have the right to invite outsiders to the Club premises and
to use its facilities as long as they accompany them personally. The Board of
Directors shall determine the conditions for exercising this right.
Article 7- All members are obliged to show their membership card at the request of
a committee member or club employee in the course of their duties
Article 8- Admission protocol for members:
- Correct completion of the application
- Discussion with a board member who will act as guarantor before the board.
- Acceptance or rejection of the application at the next Board meeting.
- If the application is accepted, the applicant will be notified in writing and will be
sent the documentation to be completed (registration with the Spanish Golf
Federation, tax identification number (NIE), etc.). The applicant will also be
informed of the payment deadline for the membership fee and the annual fee.
- Once the fees have been paid, the member will receive their membership card and
badge.
- Until all these requirements are met, the applicant must pay a green fee in order to
to play.

Article 9- FULL MEMBERSHIP
1. FULL MEMBERSHIP
Membership as a full member is obtained after approval of the relevant application
and payment of the full, non-refundable admission fee.
Full members have all the rights and obligations set out in the Articles of Association
and the Club Rules.
2. VALUE OF MEMBERSHIP
The value of membership shall be determined in accordance with the proposal of
the Board of Directors and approved by resolution of the General Meeting of
Members.
3. TRANSFER
Full membership is personal and non-transferable.
Nevertheless, full members may transfer their membership in accordance with the
provisions of Article 6.1 of the Articles of Association.
Only those members have the right to transfer their full membership who have paid
their full admission fee and fulfil all the conditions described in Chapter III of the
Articles of Association
The transferring member automatically ceases to be a member at the moment the
transfer is completed.
4. RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL
The Club reserves the right of first refusal.
CONSTITUTION
SECTION I - THE GAME OF GOLF
CHAPTER 1
THE COMPETITION COMMITTEE
Article 10- The Competition Committee shall be made up of a minimum of 2 and a
maximum of 7 members, all of whom must hold a player's licence from the Spanish
Golf Federation (RFEG). One of them shall be the chairman. To be eligible for the
chairmanship, they must be Spanish nationals or nationals of another country of
the European Economic Community.
The Chairman of the Competition Committee will be appointed by the Club de Golf
Son Servera Board of Directors and the members of the Committee (new and
outgoing) will be proposed by the Chairman of the Committee and elected by a
simple majority of the Committee members. For its part, the Board of Directors will
propose to the Balearic Islands Golf Federation the composition of the said
Committee and any changes to it. Said Association may accept or reject the
proposed committee.

The internal officers shall be appointed by the Chairman.
All decisions within the Competition Committee are made by a simple majority vote.
In the event of a tie, the vote of the President has double value and is therefore
decisive.
Article 11- Within the Competition Committee there shall be at least one delegation
for ladies, men, seniors, professionals, children, golf school, rules and handicaps.
One person can take on up to two delegations.
If available, a club member who is an international\/national referee (or if none is
available, a referee from an autonomous region) should always be appointed as a
member of the committee and be in charge of the rules-related tasks.
Article 12- The Competition Committee shall meet monthly, or at least 10 times a
year, with prior notice from the Chairman. The meeting is deemed to have a quorum
if more than half of the members are present.
If the Chairman is absent, the second Chairman assumes his duties and
responsibilities. If there is no second chairman, the committee member appointed
by the chairman shall take over.
Article 13- Any discrepancy within the committee that cannot be resolved by the
committee shall be referred to the club board for arbitration
The Club Committee may instruct the Competition Committee to investigate and
decide on matters within its remit.
Article 14- The following are the tasks of the Competition Committee:
1- To organise all competitions held at the club facilities.
2- To rule on any incident or offence during a competition in accordance with the
Rules of Golf.
3- To report to the disciplinary body any athlete whose behaviour may constitute a
breach or infringement of the rules and to provide, ex officio or on request, all
necessary assistance to the said body.
4- Before the start of a tournament, to check the handicap with which the players
have registered for a tournament by means of a check in the RFEG database; to
analyse the changes in handicap in tournaments held in accordance with the rules
of the EGA, at the end of the playing day, to send the gross stroke count for each of
the 18 holes of the player's or team's course, as well as the new handicaps, to the
RFEG database so that the players' handicaps are updated in real time in the
database.
5- To adjust the handicap of a player authorised by his club or club member
according to the rules of the handicap system. The handicap of a player who is not
authorised by his club or who is not a member of the club must be adjusted in
accordance with the rules of the EGA Handicap System.
6- Maintain the markings at the points from which the course was measured and
ensure that they are visible.
7- Maintain the degree of difficulty according to the graded level, paying particular

attention to the even placement of the flags and the maintenance of the length of
the course through the placement of the tee markers.
8- To keep the tournament scorecards with the results for at least one year.
9- To ensure general compliance with the EGA handicap system.
10- To record the official measurements given by the Spanish Golf Federation RFEG
on the playing cards and equipment.
11- To determine the handicap rating of the holes.
12- Inform the RFEG of any changes to the course so that it can assess them and
make the corresponding changes to the parameters in the database.
13- To apply the local rules of play and course regulations, which must be approved
by the club committee.
14- The Competition Committee is the body responsible not only for competitions,
but also for arbitrating any breaches of the rules, to which members\/players can
turn to resolve problems relating to the rules, interpret and confirm the rules.
Decisions on rules and disputes during play are summarised by the Competition
Committee in a protocol and the decisions are then, if necessary, posted on the
club's notice board.
For certain tournaments, a separate committee can be expressly appointed, which
takes over the tasks and functions of the competition committee and is called the
TUNIER COMMITTEE.
The following persons form a tournament committee:
a) Mandatory
- One or more members of the club's competition committee.
b) Optional
- One representative of the sponsor
- One representative of the organising committee
- Any member of the organising association designated for this purpose.
The number of members shall in any case be odd, at least most of the members
shall be players registered with an autonomous association, and their decisions
shall be taken by majority vote. In the case of decisions concerning the Rules of
Golf, the relevant statement of the Chief Arbitrator shall be heard.
CHAPTER 2
RULES FOR THE USE OF THE COURSE
Article 15- Only Full Members, Players, Senior Members, Honorary Members or
Leaseholders in possession of an Association license with a recognised handicap
may use the course. Exceptionally, members who do not fulfil this requirement may
also use the course subject to any restrictions published by the Competition
Committee.

Any player may enter the course accompanied by the club instructor.
Article 16- Any person entering the course accompanied by a non-player who is
underage assumes responsibility for the latter.
The Competition Committee determines the playing conditions for the various
children and youth categories.
Article 17- Before the start of the match, it is compulsory to register at the reception
desk to have the player's identity, license and handicap verified.
Article 18- It is not allowed to follow a different route than the one established.
Article 19- Every player is obliged to have a golf bag with the appropriate set of
clubs. It is not permitted to play in twos or threes with one bag or one set of clubs.
Only one ball may be played per person.
Article 20- The starting order is determined by the starting schedule, which is
managed from the reception.
Article 21- It is compulsory to play from the starting markers and to respect the
other markers, especially those indicating areas under repair or where passage is
restricted. Furthermore, as indicated on various signs on the course, smoking is
prohibited between tee hole 3 and tee hole 8.
Article 22- To complete an 18-hole game in a maximum time of approximately four
and a half hours, any group holding up or delaying play may be asked to let the next
group pass:
- to let the next group pass.
- to interrupt their game and resume it later.
Article 23- All persons present on the pitch must act with the utmost caution to
avoid accidents and must comply with the safety instructions displayed on the
notice board and in the club office.
Article 24- Reception and the caddy master reserve the right to organise matches
with up to four players if the course is very busy.
One player alone has no right, neither at the start nor on the course.
Article 25- The competitions organised by the club have absolute priority on the
course. Should it be possible to give a start before or during the competition, it will
be authorised by the starter or the caddy master.
Article 26- Trolleys: both electric and manual trolleys, as well as bags without
trolleys, must be kept away from the greens, pre-greens and tees.
Buggies: are limited to a maximum of two people and two bags. Buggies must
always be parked with the 4 wheels on the paths. If parked with 2 wheels on the
grass, it will compact over time, water will accumulate, and the plant will die. The
CARTS' signs must be observed. The Club de Golf Son Servera may regulate the use
of the fairways.
The responsibility for driving a buggy falls solely on the driver. Players who use a
buggy improperly or in a grossly negligent manner will be subject to disciplinary

action and may even be financially liable.
The use of buggies may be prohibited in weather conditions that may affect the
condition of the course.
Buggies may be rented to players under the age of 16 if they are accompanied by an
adult who is responsible for their appropriate use or if the minor has the express
authorisation of the club management.
Article 27- The booking of start times is subject to the following rules:
The starting times are determined and allocated by the reception. It is authorised to
determine rules such as the division of players according to handicap.
Each player must register at the reception desk before the start of the game. This
must be done at least 10 minutes before the start of the game so that the player can
be at the starting tee 5 minutes before the start of the game.
Any player who has booked a start time but is unable to play and does not cancel is
considered a 'no show'.
In the event of a no-show, the disciplinary policy regarding bookings and behaviour
on the course will apply.
If a member has booked a tee time for a green fee player or visitor and they do not
turn up, the member will pay the green fee no-show.
Should this happen repeatedly, the club reserves the right to take additional
measures.
Any visitor wishing to play on the course or use the club facilities must register at
reception. There they will be informed of the available tee times and receive their
green fee. Access to the course from any other location is not permitted.
Unauthorised access to the course may be penalised.
Every club member could book a tee time. They must inform the reception desk or
the club app of the players in their flight, stating their name and surname.
All tee times are issued from hole 1. Exceptionally, the reception desk may also
determine the tee time from another hole.
The reception is authorised to reorganise flights consisting of one, two or three
players.
On arrival at the club, the person who has reserved the tee time for several players
must inform the club of any change to the original booking.
The player must always have his green fee card with him. This can be checked by
the marshal, or a person designated by the club management from the beginning to
the end of the game.
The following general rules apply regardless of the method of booking (in person, by
email or online):
The same player cannot start in two different flights.
If a member has booked for a friend, this friend cannot book another start time for
the same day.

Friends must be registered with their name and surname.
Each player can book a flight for between 1 and 4 players and must be part of this
group.
A start time can be booked at the earliest one week (7 days) before the start, both
via the app and in person at reception.
The member who books a start time for themselves and their friends is responsible
for the booking and for any changes to it.
A booking can be cancelled up to 12 hours before the tee time at the latest. If a
booking is cancelled at shorter notice without a valid reason, the disciplinary rules
regarding bookings and behaviour on the course will apply.
Reservations for a single player to complete a group of 2 or 3 players can be made
online. The player must make the booking by telephone to be allocated the most
suitable start time. After booking the start time, other players can take the free
places in the flight.
Bookings to depart from Tee 10 can only be made by telephone or in person at the
club reception.
An inappropriate booking (repeat bookings or for any other reason) may be
cancelled by authorised Club staff. In this case, the Club staff will notify the
member who made the booking.
Reception and the Caddy Master are authorised to change bookings and combine
games in order to improve the flow of play and optimise operations. This will always
be done for a valid reason and will be communicated in advance to the members
concerned.
Article 28- Cancellation of bookings
As mentioned in the rules for bookings, the member responsible for the booking can
cancel it up to 12 hours before the start time without penalty.
To cancel participation in a tournament without penalty, cancellation must be
made at least 24 hours in advance in person, by telephone or via the online
reservation app (if available).
Article 29- Day marshal (or similar pace of play control software) and game
etiquette.
Flights: each flight entering the course must have the tagmarshal with them (while
using the tagmarshal system) and attached to one of the bags. This device is used
to keep track of the playing rhythm of each group and to ensure a smooth flow of
play within the allotted playing time.
During the game, every player is obliged to treat his team-mates with respect and
not to interrupt the game with the following actions:
Use a mobile phone during the game.
Moving around, talking or making unnecessary noises.
Similarly, it is not permitted to stand close to or behind the ball or to stand in the

line of play of a teammate who is about to hit a shot.
On the green, it is not permitted to stop in the putting line of another player or to cast
your shadow on the putting line.
Marshal \/ Starter:
All players are obliged to follow the instructions of the marshal or a person
appointed by the club management. This person is authorised to give a verbal
warning, write a disciplinary report and, after two warnings, ask a player or visitor to
leave the course or club facilities. In extreme cases, the player will be asked to leave
the club facilities without any warning.
Article 30- Safety on the course:
Every player has a duty to make sure that no one is near him when he is playing a
shot or practising his swing.
If a player misses a shot and the ball flies in the direction of other players, course
workers or other persons, he must warn them immediately with a loud 'FORE' call.
Activities other than golf are not permitted on the course. This includes, for
example, walking, jogging, fishing or parking cars, especially on the greens, fairways
and on the banks of the lakes, unless expressly authorised in writing by the
management of Club de Golf Son Servera.
Article 31- Playing rhythm:
The game must be played at a steady and steady pace. This rhythm of play includes
both the approach to the ball and the preparation for the shot and the subsequent
repair of the damaged ground.
Flights that slow down the rhythm of the course must let other flights pass in order
to ensure the general flow of play.
The marshal or a person appointed by the club management may issue up to two
warnings. On the third warning, the person will be asked to leave the course and will
not be entitled to a refund of the green fee paid.
Article 32- Lost ball:
If a player believes that his ball is lost, out of bounds or in a water hazard, he must
continue playing with a provisional ball to save time.
If the search for the ball proves to be difficult, the next flight will continue playing
after the 3 minutes given for this purpose.
It is forbidden to fish balls out of the lakes.
CHAPTER 3
STARTING RIGHTS AND COURSE CONDITIONS
Article 33- It is strictly forbidden to enter the course if it is closed for any reason or
to disregard any restrictions imposed.
Article 34- Players must wear golf clothing that complies with the regulations. Items

of clothing such as gym shorts, jeans, shirts without collars,

by the same dress code as the players.
Women may wear a skirt or other clothing that is not inappropriate for the practice
of sport. A polo shirt is the ideal golf attire.
Footwear must be sports shoes, with golf shoes recommended on the course and
appropriate sports shoes on the driving range.
Article 35- Pets (dogs, etc.) are not allowed on the course. This prohibition applies
to all club facilities.
Article 36- Any player who loses self-control or treats other players disrespectfully
may be asked to leave the course by the caddy master or by the most senior
member of staff present at the time.
CHAPTER 4
COURSE MAINTENANCE
Article 37- All players are obliged to exercise the greatest possible care on the
course and to follow all written or verbal instructions. They must also follow the
instructions on the signs located in all facilities.
Furthermore, they are obliged to report any irregularity in the condition of the court
and the facilities, as well as any infringement of the rules by another player, to the
staff or the club's own organs.
Article 38- It is strictly forbidden to throw objects of any kind onto the court.
Article 39- It is compulsory to repair divots on the tees and fairways, to repair pitch
marks on the greens (your own and those of other players), to rake the bunkers and
not to throw or drop the flag on the green. The flag must be placed carefully on the
grass and then put back in the hole.
The rake must always be placed on the outer edge of the bunker.
Article 40- The presence of maintenance personnel carrying out their work on the
course must be taken into account in each area of the course.
Article 41- Marshall\/Starter: All players are obliged to follow the instructions of the Marshall\/Starter.

CHAPTER 5
THE PRACTICE AREA
Article 42- The practice area and practice greens are exclusively for the practice of
golf. It is forbidden to damage the grass on the practice greens by using unsuitable
footwear or clubs.

The balls on the practice green are the property of the Club de Golf Son Servera and
may only be used on the practice green. Their use is not permitted on the putting
green or on the course. Likewise, these balls may not be removed from the club.

SUPERVISION AND COMPLAINTS
Article 43- There is a course supervisor who monitors compliance with the sports
rules and internal regulations on the course, as well as the rules of courtesy and
good behaviour. His instructions are binding for all players on the court.
Article 44- The Competition Committee shall receive and study all complaints
submitted in writing by a player against another player or others regarding a breach
of the rules or a breach of the rules of courtesy and good behaviour in golf.
CHAPTER 7
THE SOCIAL FACILITIES
Article 45- The social facilities of the Son Servera Golf Club, such as the clubhouse,
bar, restaurant, changing rooms, etc., must be used in an appropriate manner at all
times. They must be kept clean and care must be taken to maintain them in perfect condition.

CHAPTER 8
SANCTIONS FOR OFFENCES COMMITTED ON THE COURSE, THE PRACTICE
AREA, THE MAINTENANCE OF THE COURSE, THE USE OF THE COURSE AND
THE CLUB FACILITIES.
These sanctions are imposed on members or visitors who violate the regulations
for the USE OF THE COURT, THE TRAINING COURT, COURT MAINTENANCE
REGULATIONS FOR THE USE OF THE COURT.
- 1st offence: The player is given a verbal warning.
- 2nd offence: The player is given a written warning.
- 3rd offence: Decision of the club management after consultation with the
president or vice-president regarding the ban on playing or the ban on entering the
club. This ban is valid for between 1 week and 3 months, depending on the severity.

SECTION II.- THE DISCIPLINARY SYSTEM
CHAPTER 1
THE DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE
Article 46- Chapter XVII 'Sanctioning procedure and disciplinary rules' of the
Statutes sets out the procedure for initiating and opening disciplinary proceedings.
Article 47- Offences may be minor, serious or very serious, depending on their
gravity.
Article 48- Minor offences:
- The following actions or behaviour are punished with a verbal or written
warning:
- Disrespectful or inconsiderate behaviour towards members, employees
or strangers.
- Any disruptive behaviour in the club facilities.
- Violation of the hygiene regulations applicable in the facilities
- Offences against the maintenance or cleanliness of the equipment or the
sports or club facilities.
- Using company equipment without authorisation and improperly.
- Driving a motorised vehicle outside the designated zones and parking
vehicles in unsuitable places so as to obstruct access.
- Fail to notify a change of residence or bank account details after being
requested to do so by the Association. In cases where bank charges are
incurred due to unpaid direct debit orders, these charges may be
demanded from the member.
- Refusal to comply with the decisions of the club bodies or the
instructions of a club employees in the performance of their duties.
- Infringements of the rules referred to in articles 21 and 22 after the player
has been cautioned or if his behaviour delays the remaining matches.
- In general, simple infringements of the other regulations mentioned in
articles 18 and 42 are considered minor offences, unless they are by their
nature serious or very serious offences, in which case they are
sanctioned as such.
Article 49- Serious offences:
- The following actions or behaviour are punishable by a minimum onemonth and maximum three-month ban from entering the club area and

using its facilities, with withdrawal of the membership card:
- Involvement in a serious dispute, scandal or assault.
- Insults, serious disrespect and threats against members and club
employees or third parties.
- Negligence, if this results in a risk of accident for oneself or others, or a
serious risk of damage to the facilities.
- Theft of items of low value that are the property of the club, other
members or third parties.
- Wilfully causing slight damage to club property, the property of other
members or third parties.
- Lending the club card or other documents to other persons for the
purpose of faking membership and making control more difficult.
- Changing the content of notice boards, lists or other elements used for
control purposes, etc.
- Refusing to provide the disciplinary committee with information that
could be used to investigate offences committed by other persons.
- Direct or indirect participation in any serious offence.
- Repeating a minor offence, even if it is of a different nature, within a
period of two years.
Article 50- Very serious offences:
- The following acts or behaviour are punishable by a minimum threemonth and maximum two-year ban from entering the club and using its
facilities, with loss of club membership card:
- Verbal or physical abuse, serious recklessness and assault against a
member, club employee or stranger.
- Serious offence against morality.
- Theft or theft of items that are club property, the property of others
members or strangers and that are not included in the minor offences.
- Wilful and serious damage to club property, the property of other
members or third parties.
- Actions that seriously damage the reputation or are contrary to the
interests of Son Servera Golf Club.
- Falsifying or deliberately concealing important information if this causes
serious damage to the club.
- Direct or indirect participation in any very serious offence.
- Repeating a serious offence, even if it is of a different nature, within a
period of two years.
Article 51- In determining the nature of the sanction, the circumstances that led to
the offence shall be taken into account.
Article 52- Any communication, notice or summons sent by ordinary mail with

acknowledgement of receipt to the last place of residence communicated by the
member to the club shall be deemed valid.
Article 53- The person who is deprived of his rights as a result of a sanction shall
remain liable for the payment of ordinary and extraordinary dues levied during this

Article 56- These Club Regulations shall enter into force as soon as they have been
approved by the members and the Directorate General for Sport.

CLUB RULES
SON SERVERA GOLF CLUB
PREFACE CHAPTER
MEMBERS, RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
Article 1- All members of Son Servera Golf Club have the right to use and enjoy the
golf course and its facilities, except for supporting members, who are only
authorised to use and enjoy the club's social facilities.
They also have the right to promote and practise the sport of golf as players
authorised by the club.
Article 2- The exercise of said rights is subject to compliance with the basic rules,
the statutes and the regulations of the Club, as well as the decisions taken by the
Board of Directors and those of the Club's employees in the performance of their
duties.
Article 3- Club members, regardless of the type of membership, are obliged to pay
the regular fees in force at any given time, as well as any extraordinary fees that may
be decided.
Article 4- Special facilities that are not for general use, such as lockers, racket
room, maintenance of electric trolleys, courses, etc. may be charged separately.

Article 5- The Board of Directors may expel any member who, after receiving a
reminder and analysing the situation, fails to pay the regular or extraordinary fees

Article 6- Club members have the right to invite outsiders to the Club premises and

Article 7- All members are obliged to show their membership card at the request of
a committee member or club employee in the course of their duties
Article 8- Admission protocol for members:
- Correct completion of the application
- Discussion with a board member who will act as guarantor before the board.
- Acceptance or rejection of the application at the next Board meeting.
- If the application is accepted, the applicant will be notified in writing and will be
sent the documentation to be completed (registration with the Spanish Golf
Federation, tax identification number (NIE), etc.). The applicant will also be
informed of the payment deadline for the membership fee and the annual fee.
- Once the fees have been paid, the member will receive their membership card and
badge.
- Until all these requirements are met, the applicant must pay a green fee in order to
to play.

Article 9- FULL MEMBERSHIP
1. FULL MEMBERSHIP
Membership as a full member is obtained after approval of the relevant application
and payment of the full, non-refundable admission fee.
Full members have all the rights and obligations set out in the Articles of Association
and the Club Rules.
2. VALUE OF MEMBERSHIP
The value of membership shall be determined in accordance with the proposal of
the Board of Directors and approved by resolution of the General Meeting of
Members.
3. TRANSFER
Full membership is personal and non-transferable.
Nevertheless, full members may transfer their membership in accordance with the
provisions of Article 6.1 of the Articles of Association.
Only those members have the right to transfer their full membership who have paid
their full admission fee and fulfil all the conditions described in Chapter III of the
Articles of Association
The transferring member automatically ceases to be a member at the moment the
transfer is completed.
4. RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL
The Club reserves the right of first refusal.
CONSTITUTION
SECTION I - THE GAME OF GOLF
CHAPTER 1
THE COMPETITION COMMITTEE
Article 10- The Competition Committee shall be made up of a minimum of 2 and a
maximum of 7 members, all of whom must hold a player's licence from the Spanish
Golf Federation (RFEG). One of them shall be the chairman. To be eligible for the
chairmanship, they must be Spanish nationals or nationals of another country of
the European Economic Community.
The Chairman of the Competition Committee will be appointed by the Club de Golf
Son Servera Board of Directors and the members of the Committee (new and
outgoing) will be proposed by the Chairman of the Committee and elected by a
simple majority of the Committee members. For its part, the Board of Directors will
propose to the Balearic Islands Golf Federation the composition of the said
Committee and any changes to it. Said Association may accept or reject the
proposed committee.

The internal officers shall be appointed by the Chairman.
All decisions within the Competition Committee are made by a simple majority vote.
In the event of a tie, the vote of the President has double value and is therefore
decisive.
Article 11- Within the Competition Committee there shall be at least one delegation
for ladies, men, seniors, professionals, children, golf school, rules and handicaps.
One person can take on up to two delegations.
If available, a club member who is an international\/national referee (or if none is
available, a referee from an autonomous region) should always be appointed as a
member of the committee and be in charge of the rules-related tasks.
Article 12- The Competition Committee shall meet monthly, or at least 10 times a
year, with prior notice from the Chairman. The meeting is deemed to have a quorum
if more than half of the members are present.
If the Chairman is absent, the second Chairman assumes his duties and
responsibilities. If there is no second chairman, the committee member appointed
by the chairman shall take over.
Article 13- Any discrepancy within the committee that cannot be resolved by the
committee shall be referred to the club board for arbitration
The Club Committee may instruct the Competition Committee to investigate and
decide on matters within its remit.
Article 14- The following are the tasks of the Competition Committee:
1- To organise all competitions held at the club facilities.
2- To rule on any incident or offence during a competition in accordance with the
Rules of Golf.
3- To report to the disciplinary body any athlete whose behaviour may constitute a
breach or infringement of the rules and to provide, ex officio or on request, all
necessary assistance to the said body.
4- Before the start of a tournament, to check the handicap with which the players
have registered for a tournament by means of a check in the RFEG database; to
analyse the changes in handicap in tournaments held in accordance with the rules
of the EGA, at the end of the playing day, to send the gross stroke count for each of
the 18 holes of the player's or team's course, as well as the new handicaps, to the
RFEG database so that the players' handicaps are updated in real time in the
database.
5- To adjust the handicap of a player authorised by his club or club member
according to the rules of the handicap system. The handicap of a player who is not
authorised by his club or who is not a member of the club must be adjusted in
accordance with the rules of the EGA Handicap System.
6- Maintain the markings at the points from which the course was measured and
ensure that they are visible.
7- Maintain the degree of difficulty according to the graded level, paying particular

attention to the even placement of the flags and the maintenance of the length of
the course through the placement of the tee markers.
8- To keep the tournament scorecards with the results for at least one year.
9- To ensure general compliance with the EGA handicap system.
10- To record the official measurements given by the Spanish Golf Federation RFEG
on the playing cards and equipment.
11- To determine the handicap rating of the holes.
12- Inform the RFEG of any changes to the course so that it can assess them and
make the corresponding changes to the parameters in the database.
13- To apply the local rules of play and course regulations, which must be approved
by the club committee.
14- The Competition Committee is the body responsible not only for competitions,
but also for arbitrating any breaches of the rules, to which members\/players can
turn to resolve problems relating to the rules, interpret and confirm the rules.
Decisions on rules and disputes during play are summarised by the Competition
Committee in a protocol and the decisions are then, if necessary, posted on the
club's notice board.
For certain tournaments, a separate committee can be expressly appointed, which
takes over the tasks and functions of the competition committee and is called the
TUNIER COMMITTEE.
The following persons form a tournament committee:
a) Mandatory
- One or more members of the club's competition committee.
b) Optional
- One representative of the sponsor
- One representative of the organising committee
- Any member of the organising association designated for this purpose.
The number of members shall in any case be odd, at least most of the members
shall be players registered with an autonomous association, and their decisions
shall be taken by majority vote. In the case of decisions concerning the Rules of
Golf, the relevant statement of the Chief Arbitrator shall be heard.
CHAPTER 2
RULES FOR THE USE OF THE COURSE
Article 15- Only Full Members, Players, Senior Members, Honorary Members or
Leaseholders in possession of an Association license with a recognised handicap
may use the course. Exceptionally, members who do not fulfil this requirement may
also use the course subject to any restrictions published by the Competition
Committee.

Any player may enter the course accompanied by the club instructor.
Article 16- Any person entering the course accompanied by a non-player who is
underage assumes responsibility for the latter.
The Competition Committee determines the playing conditions for the various
children and youth categories.
Article 17- Before the start of the match, it is compulsory to register at the reception
desk to have the player's identity, license and handicap verified.
Article 18- It is not allowed to follow a different route than the one established.
Article 19- Every player is obliged to have a golf bag with the appropriate set of
clubs. It is not permitted to play in twos or threes with one bag or one set of clubs.
Only one ball may be played per person.
Article 20- The starting order is determined by the starting schedule, which is
managed from the reception.
Article 21- It is compulsory to play from the starting markers and to respect the
other markers, especially those indicating areas under repair or where passage is
restricted. Furthermore, as indicated on various signs on the course, smoking is
prohibited between tee hole 3 and tee hole 8.
Article 22- To complete an 18-hole game in a maximum time of approximately four
and a half hours, any group holding up or delaying play may be asked to let the next
group pass:
- to let the next group pass.
- to interrupt their game and resume it later.
Article 23- All persons present on the pitch must act with the utmost caution to
avoid accidents and must comply with the safety instructions displayed on the
notice board and in the club office.
Article 24- Reception and the caddy master reserve the right to organise matches
with up to four players if the course is very busy.
One player alone has no right, neither at the start nor on the course.
Article 25- The competitions organised by the club have absolute priority on the
course. Should it be possible to give a start before or during the competition, it will
be authorised by the starter or the caddy master.
Article 26- Trolleys: both electric and manual trolleys, as well as bags without
trolleys, must be kept away from the greens, pre-greens and tees.
Buggies: are limited to a maximum of two people and two bags. Buggies must
always be parked with the 4 wheels on the paths. If parked with 2 wheels on the
grass, it will compact over time, water will accumulate, and the plant will die. The
CARTS' signs must be observed. The Club de Golf Son Servera may regulate the use
of the fairways.
The responsibility for driving a buggy falls solely on the driver. Players who use a
buggy improperly or in a grossly negligent manner will be subject to disciplinary

action and may even be financially liable.
The use of buggies may be prohibited in weather conditions that may affect the
condition of the course.
Buggies may be rented to players under the age of 16 if they are accompanied by an
adult who is responsible for their appropriate use or if the minor has the express
authorisation of the club management.
Article 27- The booking of start times is subject to the following rules:
The starting times are determined and allocated by the reception. It is authorised to
determine rules such as the division of players according to handicap.
Each player must register at the reception desk before the start of the game. This
must be done at least 10 minutes before the start of the game so that the player can
be at the starting tee 5 minutes before the start of the game.
Any player who has booked a start time but is unable to play and does not cancel is
considered a 'no show'.
In the event of a no-show, the disciplinary policy regarding bookings and behaviour
on the course will apply.
If a member has booked a tee time for a green fee player or visitor and they do not
turn up, the member will pay the green fee no-show.
Should this happen repeatedly, the club reserves the right to take additional
measures.
Any visitor wishing to play on the course or use the club facilities must register at
reception. There they will be informed of the available tee times and receive their
green fee. Access to the course from any other location is not permitted.
Unauthorised access to the course may be penalised.
Every club member could book a tee time. They must inform the reception desk or
the club app of the players in their flight, stating their name and surname.
All tee times are issued from hole 1. Exceptionally, the reception desk may also
determine the tee time from another hole.
The reception is authorised to reorganise flights consisting of one, two or three
players.
On arrival at the club, the person who has reserved the tee time for several players
must inform the club of any change to the original booking.
The player must always have his green fee card with him. This can be checked by
the marshal, or a person designated by the club management from the beginning to
the end of the game.
The following general rules apply regardless of the method of booking (in person, by
email or online):
The same player cannot start in two different flights.
If a member has booked for a friend, this friend cannot book another start time for
the same day.

Friends must be registered with their name and surname.
Each player can book a flight for between 1 and 4 players and must be part of this
group.
A start time can be booked at the earliest one week (7 days) before the start, both
via the app and in person at reception.
The member who books a start time for themselves and their friends is responsible
for the booking and for any changes to it.
A booking can be cancelled up to 12 hours before the tee time at the latest. If a
booking is cancelled at shorter notice without a valid reason, the disciplinary rules
regarding bookings and behaviour on the course will apply.
Reservations for a single player to complete a group of 2 or 3 players can be made
online. The player must make the booking by telephone to be allocated the most
suitable start time. After booking the start time, other players can take the free
places in the flight.
Bookings to depart from Tee 10 can only be made by telephone or in person at the
club reception.
An inappropriate booking (repeat bookings or for any other reason) may be
cancelled by authorised Club staff. In this case, the Club staff will notify the
member who made the booking.
Reception and the Caddy Master are authorised to change bookings and combine
games in order to improve the flow of play and optimise operations. This will always
be done for a valid reason and will be communicated in advance to the members
concerned.
Article 28- Cancellation of bookings
As mentioned in the rules for bookings, the member responsible for the booking can
cancel it up to 12 hours before the start time without penalty.
To cancel participation in a tournament without penalty, cancellation must be
made at least 24 hours in advance in person, by telephone or via the online
reservation app (if available).
Article 29- Day marshal (or similar pace of play control software) and game
etiquette.
Flights: each flight entering the course must have the tagmarshal with them (while
using the tagmarshal system) and attached to one of the bags. This device is used
to keep track of the playing rhythm of each group and to ensure a smooth flow of
play within the allotted playing time.
During the game, every player is obliged to treat his team-mates with respect and
not to interrupt the game with the following actions:
Use a mobile phone during the game.
Moving around, talking or making unnecessary noises.
Similarly, it is not permitted to stand close to or behind the ball or to stand in the

line of play of a teammate who is about to hit a shot.
On the green, it is not permitted to stop in the putting line of another player or to cast
your shadow on the putting line.
Marshal \/ Starter:
All players are obliged to follow the instructions of the marshal or a person
appointed by the club management. This person is authorised to give a verbal
warning, write a disciplinary report and, after two warnings, ask a player or visitor to
leave the course or club facilities. In extreme cases, the player will be asked to leave
the club facilities without any warning.
Article 30- Safety on the course:
Every player has a duty to make sure that no one is near him when he is playing a
shot or practising his swing.
If a player misses a shot and the ball flies in the direction of other players, course
workers or other persons, he must warn them immediately with a loud 'FORE' call.
Activities other than golf are not permitted on the course. This includes, for
example, walking, jogging, fishing or parking cars, especially on the greens, fairways
and on the banks of the lakes, unless expressly authorised in writing by the
management of Club de Golf Son Servera.
Article 31- Playing rhythm:
The game must be played at a steady and steady pace. This rhythm of play includes
both the approach to the ball and the preparation for the shot and the subsequent
repair of the damaged ground.
Flights that slow down the rhythm of the course must let other flights pass in order
to ensure the general flow of play.
The marshal or a person appointed by the club management may issue up to two
warnings. On the third warning, the person will be asked to leave the course and will
not be entitled to a refund of the green fee paid.
Article 32- Lost ball:
If a player believes that his ball is lost, out of bounds or in a water hazard, he must
continue playing with a provisional ball to save time.
If the search for the ball proves to be difficult, the next flight will continue playing
after the 3 minutes given for this purpose.
It is forbidden to fish balls out of the lakes.
CHAPTER 3
STARTING RIGHTS AND COURSE CONDITIONS
Article 33- It is strictly forbidden to enter the course if it is closed for any reason or
to disregard any restrictions imposed.
Article 34- Players must wear golf clothing that complies with the regulations. Items

of clothing such as gym shorts, jeans, shirts without collars,

by the same dress code as the players.
Women may wear a skirt or other clothing that is not inappropriate for the practice
of sport. A polo shirt is the ideal golf attire.

Article 35- Pets (dogs, etc.) are not allowed on the course. This prohibition applies
to all club facilities.
Article 36- Any player who loses self-control or treats other players disrespectfully
may be asked to leave the course by the caddy master or by the most senior
member of staff present at the time.
CHAPTER 4
COURSE MAINTENANCE
Article 37- All players are obliged to exercise the greatest possible care on the
course and to follow all written or verbal instructions. They must also follow the
instructions on the signs located in all facilities.
Furthermore, they are obliged to report any irregularity in the condition of the court
and the facilities, as well as any infringement of the rules by another player, to the
staff or the club's own organs.
Article 38- It is strictly forbidden to throw objects of any kind onto the court.
Article 39- It is compulsory to repair divots on the tees and fairways, to repair pitch
marks on the greens (your own and those of other players), to rake the bunkers and
not to throw or drop the flag on the green. The flag must be placed carefully on the
grass and then put back in the hole.
The rake must always be placed on the outer edge of the bunker.
Article 40- The presence of maintenance personnel carrying out their work on the
course must be taken into account in each area of the course.
Article 41- Marshall\/Starter: All players are obliged to follow the instructions of the Marshall\/Starter.

These sanctions are imposed on members or visitors who violate the regulations

- 1st offence: The player is given a verbal warning.
- 2nd offence: The player is given a written warning.
- 3rd offence: Decision of the club management after consultation with the
president or vice-president regarding the ban on playing or the ban on entering the

Statutes sets out the procedure for initiating and opening disciplinary proceedings.
Article 47- Offences may be minor, serious or very serious, depending on their
gravity.
Article 48- Minor offences:
- The following actions or behaviour are punished with a verbal or written
warning:
- Disrespectful or inconsiderate behaviour towards members, employees
or strangers.
- Any disruptive behaviour in the club facilities.
- Violation of the hygiene regulations applicable in the facilities
- Offences against the maintenance or cleanliness of the equipment or the
sports or club facilities.
- Using company equipment without authorisation and improperly.
- Driving a motorised vehicle outside the designated zones and parking
vehicles in unsuitable places so as to obstruct access.
- Fail to notify a change of residence or bank account details after being
requested to do so by the Association. In cases where bank charges are
incurred due to unpaid direct debit orders, these charges may be
demanded from the member.
- Refusal to comply with the decisions of the club bodies or the
instructions of a club employees in the performance of their duties.
- Infringements of the rules referred to in articles 21 and 22 after the player
has been cautioned or if his behaviour delays the remaining matches.
- In general, simple infringements of the other regulations mentioned in
articles 18 and 42 are considered minor offences, unless they are by their
nature serious or very serious offences, in which case they are
sanctioned as such.
Article 49- Serious offences:
- The following actions or behaviour are punishable by a minimum onemonth and maximum three-month ban from entering the club area and

using its facilities, with withdrawal of the membership card:
- Involvement in a serious dispute, scandal or assault.
- Insults, serious disrespect and threats against members and club
employees or third parties.
- Negligence, if this results in a risk of accident for oneself or others, or a
serious risk of damage to the facilities.
- Theft of items of low value that are the property of the club, other
members or third parties.
- Wilfully causing slight damage to club property, the property of other
members or third parties.
- Lending the club card or other documents to other persons for the
purpose of faking membership and making control more difficult.
- Changing the content of notice boards, lists or other elements used for
control purposes, etc.
- Refusing to provide the disciplinary committee with information that
could be used to investigate offences committed by other persons.
- Direct or indirect participation in any serious offence.
- Repeating a minor offence, even if it is of a different nature, within a
period of two years.
Article 50- Very serious offences:
- The following acts or behaviour are punishable by a minimum threemonth and maximum two-year ban from entering the club and using its
facilities, with loss of club membership card:
- Verbal or physical abuse, serious recklessness and assault against a
member, club employee or stranger.
- Serious offence against morality.
- Theft or theft of items that are club property, the property of others
members or strangers and that are not included in the minor offences.
- Wilful and serious damage to club property, the property of other
members or third parties.
- Actions that seriously damage the reputation or are contrary to the
interests of Son Servera Golf Club.
- Falsifying or deliberately concealing important information if this causes
serious damage to the club.
- Direct or indirect participation in any very serious offence.
- Repeating a serious offence, even if it is of a different nature, within a
period of two years.
Article 51- In determining the nature of the sanction, the circumstances that led to
the offence shall be taken into account.
Article 52- Any communication, notice or summons sent by ordinary mail with

acknowledgement of receipt to the last place of residence communicated by the
member to the club shall be deemed valid.
Article 53- The person who is deprived of his rights as a result of a sanction shall
remain liable for the payment of ordinary and extraordinary dues levied during this
period. He will not be readmitted to the club until he has paid the dues and any

Article 5- The Board of Directors may expel any member who, after receiving a

Article 6- Club members have the right to invite outsiders to the Club premises and
to use its facilities as long as they accompany them personally. The Board of
Directors shall determine the conditions for exercising this right.
Article 7- All members are obliged to show their membership card at the request of
a committee member or club employee in the course of their duties
Article 8- Admission protocol for members:
- Correct completion of the application
- Discussion with a board member who will act as guarantor before the board.
- Acceptance or rejection of the application at the next Board meeting.
- If the application is accepted, the applicant will be notified in writing and will be
sent the documentation to be completed (registration with the Spanish Golf
Federation, tax identification number (NIE), etc.). The applicant will also be
informed of the payment deadline for the membership fee and the annual fee.
- Once the fees have been paid, the member will receive their membership card and
badge.
- Until all these requirements are met, the applicant must pay a green fee in order to
to play.

Article 9- FULL MEMBERSHIP
1. FULL MEMBERSHIP
Membership as a full member is obtained after approval of the relevant application
and payment of the full, non-refundable admission fee.
Full members have all the rights and obligations set out in the Articles of Association
and the Club Rules.
2. VALUE OF MEMBERSHIP
The value of membership shall be determined in accordance with the proposal of
the Board of Directors and approved by resolution of the General Meeting of
Members.
3. TRANSFER
Full membership is personal and non-transferable.
Nevertheless, full members may transfer their membership in accordance with the
provisions of Article 6.1 of the Articles of Association.
Only those members have the right to transfer their full membership who have paid
their full admission fee and fulfil all the conditions described in Chapter III of the
Articles of Association
The transferring member automatically ceases to be a member at the moment the
transfer is completed.
4. RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL
The Club reserves the right of first refusal.
CONSTITUTION
SECTION I - THE GAME OF GOLF
CHAPTER 1
THE COMPETITION COMMITTEE
Article 10- The Competition Committee shall be made up of a minimum of 2 and a
maximum of 7 members, all of whom must hold a player's licence from the Spanish
Golf Federation (RFEG). One of them shall be the chairman. To be eligible for the
chairmanship, they must be Spanish nationals or nationals of another country of
the European Economic Community.
The Chairman of the Competition Committee will be appointed by the Club de Golf
Son Servera Board of Directors and the members of the Committee (new and
outgoing) will be proposed by the Chairman of the Committee and elected by a
simple majority of the Committee members. For its part, the Board of Directors will
propose to the Balearic Islands Golf Federation the composition of the said
Committee and any changes to it. Said Association may accept or reject the
proposed committee.

The internal officers shall be appointed by the Chairman.
All decisions within the Competition Committee are made by a simple majority vote.
In the event of a tie, the vote of the President has double value and is therefore
decisive.
Article 11- Within the Competition Committee there shall be at least one delegation
for ladies, men, seniors, professionals, children, golf school, rules and handicaps.
One person can take on up to two delegations.
If available, a club member who is an international\/national referee (or if none is
available, a referee from an autonomous region) should always be appointed as a
member of the committee and be in charge of the rules-related tasks.
Article 12- The Competition Committee shall meet monthly, or at least 10 times a
year, with prior notice from the Chairman. The meeting is deemed to have a quorum
if more than half of the members are present.
If the Chairman is absent, the second Chairman assumes his duties and
responsibilities. If there is no second chairman, the committee member appointed
by the chairman shall take over.
Article 13- Any discrepancy within the committee that cannot be resolved by the
committee shall be referred to the club board for arbitration
The Club Committee may instruct the Competition Committee to investigate and
decide on matters within its remit.
Article 14- The following are the tasks of the Competition Committee:
1- To organise all competitions held at the club facilities.
2- To rule on any incident or offence during a competition in accordance with the
Rules of Golf.
3- To report to the disciplinary body any athlete whose behaviour may constitute a
breach or infringement of the rules and to provide, ex officio or on request, all
necessary assistance to the said body.
4- Before the start of a tournament, to check the handicap with which the players
have registered for a tournament by means of a check in the RFEG database; to
analyse the changes in handicap in tournaments held in accordance with the rules
of the EGA, at the end of the playing day, to send the gross stroke count for each of
the 18 holes of the player's or team's course, as well as the new handicaps, to the
RFEG database so that the players' handicaps are updated in real time in the
database.
5- To adjust the handicap of a player authorised by his club or club member
according to the rules of the handicap system. The handicap of a player who is not
authorised by his club or who is not a member of the club must be adjusted in
accordance with the rules of the EGA Handicap System.
6- Maintain the markings at the points from which the course was measured and
ensure that they are visible.
7- Maintain the degree of difficulty according to the graded level, paying particular

attention to the even placement of the flags and the maintenance of the length of
the course through the placement of the tee markers.
8- To keep the tournament scorecards with the results for at least one year.
9- To ensure general compliance with the EGA handicap system.
10- To record the official measurements given by the Spanish Golf Federation RFEG
on the playing cards and equipment.
11- To determine the handicap rating of the holes.
12- Inform the RFEG of any changes to the course so that it can assess them and
make the corresponding changes to the parameters in the database.
13- To apply the local rules of play and course regulations, which must be approved
by the club committee.
14- The Competition Committee is the body responsible not only for competitions,
but also for arbitrating any breaches of the rules, to which members\/players can
turn to resolve problems relating to the rules, interpret and confirm the rules.
Decisions on rules and disputes during play are summarised by the Competition
Committee in a protocol and the decisions are then, if necessary, posted on the
club's notice board.
For certain tournaments, a separate committee can be expressly appointed, which
takes over the tasks and functions of the competition committee and is called the
TUNIER COMMITTEE.
The following persons form a tournament committee:
a) Mandatory
- One or more members of the club's competition committee.
b) Optional
- One representative of the sponsor
- One representative of the organising committee
- Any member of the organising association designated for this purpose.
The number of members shall in any case be odd, at least most of the members
shall be players registered with an autonomous association, and their decisions
shall be taken by majority vote. In the case of decisions concerning the Rules of
Golf, the relevant statement of the Chief Arbitrator shall be heard.
CHAPTER 2
RULES FOR THE USE OF THE COURSE
Article 15- Only Full Members, Players, Senior Members, Honorary Members or
Leaseholders in possession of an Association license with a recognised handicap
may use the course. Exceptionally, members who do not fulfil this requirement may
also use the course subject to any restrictions published by the Competition
Committee.

Any player may enter the course accompanied by the club instructor.
Article 16- Any person entering the course accompanied by a non-player who is
underage assumes responsibility for the latter.
The Competition Committee determines the playing conditions for the various
children and youth categories.
Article 17- Before the start of the match, it is compulsory to register at the reception
desk to have the player's identity, license and handicap verified.
Article 18- It is not allowed to follow a different route than the one established.
Article 19- Every player is obliged to have a golf bag with the appropriate set of
clubs. It is not permitted to play in twos or threes with one bag or one set of clubs.
Only one ball may be played per person.
Article 20- The starting order is determined by the starting schedule, which is
managed from the reception.
Article 21- It is compulsory to play from the starting markers and to respect the
other markers, especially those indicating areas under repair or where passage is
restricted. Furthermore, as indicated on various signs on the course, smoking is
prohibited between tee hole 3 and tee hole 8.
Article 22- To complete an 18-hole game in a maximum time of approximately four
and a half hours, any group holding up or delaying play may be asked to let the next
group pass:
- to let the next group pass.
- to interrupt their game and resume it later.
Article 23- All persons present on the pitch must act with the utmost caution to
avoid accidents and must comply with the safety instructions displayed on the
notice board and in the club office.
Article 24- Reception and the caddy master reserve the right to organise matches
with up to four players if the course is very busy.
One player alone has no right, neither at the start nor on the course.
Article 25- The competitions organised by the club have absolute priority on the
course. Should it be possible to give a start before or during the competition, it will
be authorised by the starter or the caddy master.
Article 26- Trolleys: both electric and manual trolleys, as well as bags without
trolleys, must be kept away from the greens, pre-greens and tees.
Buggies: are limited to a maximum of two people and two bags. Buggies must
always be parked with the 4 wheels on the paths. If parked with 2 wheels on the
grass, it will compact over time, water will accumulate, and the plant will die. The
CARTS' signs must be observed. The Club de Golf Son Servera may regulate the use
of the fairways.
The responsibility for driving a buggy falls solely on the driver. Players who use a
buggy improperly or in a grossly negligent manner will be subject to disciplinary

action and may even be financially liable.
The use of buggies may be prohibited in weather conditions that may affect the
condition of the course.
Buggies may be rented to players under the age of 16 if they are accompanied by an
adult who is responsible for their appropriate use or if the minor has the express
authorisation of the club management.
Article 27- The booking of start times is subject to the following rules:
The starting times are determined and allocated by the reception. It is authorised to
determine rules such as the division of players according to handicap.
Each player must register at the reception desk before the start of the game. This
must be done at least 10 minutes before the start of the game so that the player can
be at the starting tee 5 minutes before the start of the game.
Any player who has booked a start time but is unable to play and does not cancel is
considered a 'no show'.
In the event of a no-show, the disciplinary policy regarding bookings and behaviour
on the course will apply.
If a member has booked a tee time for a green fee player or visitor and they do not
turn up, the member will pay the green fee no-show.
Should this happen repeatedly, the club reserves the right to take additional
measures.
Any visitor wishing to play on the course or use the club facilities must register at
reception. There they will be informed of the available tee times and receive their
green fee. Access to the course from any other location is not permitted.
Unauthorised access to the course may be penalised.
Every club member could book a tee time. They must inform the reception desk or
the club app of the players in their flight, stating their name and surname.
All tee times are issued from hole 1. Exceptionally, the reception desk may also
determine the tee time from another hole.
The reception is authorised to reorganise flights consisting of one, two or three
players.
On arrival at the club, the person who has reserved the tee time for several players
must inform the club of any change to the original booking.
The player must always have his green fee card with him. This can be checked by
the marshal, or a person designated by the club management from the beginning to
the end of the game.
The following general rules apply regardless of the method of booking (in person, by
email or online):
The same player cannot start in two different flights.
If a member has booked for a friend, this friend cannot book another start time for
the same day.

Friends must be registered with their name and surname.
Each player can book a flight for between 1 and 4 players and must be part of this
group.
A start time can be booked at the earliest one week (7 days) before the start, both
via the app and in person at reception.
The member who books a start time for themselves and their friends is responsible
for the booking and for any changes to it.
A booking can be cancelled up to 12 hours before the tee time at the latest. If a
booking is cancelled at shorter notice without a valid reason, the disciplinary rules
regarding bookings and behaviour on the course will apply.
Reservations for a single player to complete a group of 2 or 3 players can be made
online. The player must make the booking by telephone to be allocated the most
suitable start time. After booking the start time, other players can take the free
places in the flight.
Bookings to depart from Tee 10 can only be made by telephone or in person at the
club reception.
An inappropriate booking (repeat bookings or for any other reason) may be
cancelled by authorised Club staff. In this case, the Club staff will notify the
member who made the booking.
Reception and the Caddy Master are authorised to change bookings and combine
games in order to improve the flow of play and optimise operations. This will always
be done for a valid reason and will be communicated in advance to the members
concerned.
Article 28- Cancellation of bookings
As mentioned in the rules for bookings, the member responsible for the booking can
cancel it up to 12 hours before the start time without penalty.
To cancel participation in a tournament without penalty, cancellation must be
made at least 24 hours in advance in person, by telephone or via the online
reservation app (if available).
Article 29- Day marshal (or similar pace of play control software) and game
etiquette.
Flights: each flight entering the course must have the tagmarshal with them (while
using the tagmarshal system) and attached to one of the bags. This device is used
to keep track of the playing rhythm of each group and to ensure a smooth flow of
play within the allotted playing time.
During the game, every player is obliged to treat his team-mates with respect and
not to interrupt the game with the following actions:
Use a mobile phone during the game.
Moving around, talking or making unnecessary noises.
Similarly, it is not permitted to stand close to or behind the ball or to stand in the

line of play of a teammate who is about to hit a shot.
On the green, it is not permitted to stop in the putting line of another player or to cast
your shadow on the putting line.
Marshal \/ Starter:
All players are obliged to follow the instructions of the marshal or a person
appointed by the club management. This person is authorised to give a verbal
warning, write a disciplinary report and, after two warnings, ask a player or visitor to
leave the course or club facilities. In extreme cases, the player will be asked to leave
the club facilities without any warning.
Article 30- Safety on the course:
Every player has a duty to make sure that no one is near him when he is playing a
shot or practising his swing.
If a player misses a shot and the ball flies in the direction of other players, course
workers or other persons, he must warn them immediately with a loud 'FORE' call.
Activities other than golf are not permitted on the course. This includes, for
example, walking, jogging, fishing or parking cars, especially on the greens, fairways
and on the banks of the lakes, unless expressly authorised in writing by the
management of Club de Golf Son Servera.
Article 31- Playing rhythm:
The game must be played at a steady and steady pace. This rhythm of play includes
both the approach to the ball and the preparation for the shot and the subsequent
repair of the damaged ground.
Flights that slow down the rhythm of the course must let other flights pass in order
to ensure the general flow of play.
The marshal or a person appointed by the club management may issue up to two
warnings. On the third warning, the person will be asked to leave the course and will
not be entitled to a refund of the green fee paid.
Article 32- Lost ball:
If a player believes that his ball is lost, out of bounds or in a water hazard, he must
continue playing with a provisional ball to save time.
If the search for the ball proves to be difficult, the next flight will continue playing
after the 3 minutes given for this purpose.
It is forbidden to fish balls out of the lakes.
CHAPTER 3
STARTING RIGHTS AND COURSE CONDITIONS
Article 33- It is strictly forbidden to enter the course if it is closed for any reason or
to disregard any restrictions imposed.
Article 34- Players must wear golf clothing that complies with the regulations. Items

of clothing such as gym shorts, jeans, shirts without collars,

by the same dress code as the players.
Women may wear a skirt or other clothing that is not inappropriate for the practice
of sport. A polo shirt is the ideal golf attire.
Footwear must be sports shoes, with golf shoes recommended on the course and

Article 35- Pets (dogs, etc.) are not allowed on the course. This prohibition applies
to all club facilities.
Article 36- Any player who loses self-control or treats other players disrespectfully
may be asked to leave the course by the caddy master or by the most senior
member of staff present at the time.
CHAPTER 4
COURSE MAINTENANCE
Article 37- All players are obliged to exercise the greatest possible care on the
course and to follow all written or verbal instructions. They must also follow the
instructions on the signs located in all facilities.
Furthermore, they are obliged to report any irregularity in the condition of the court
and the facilities, as well as any infringement of the rules by another player, to the
staff or the club's own organs.
Article 38- It is strictly forbidden to throw objects of any kind onto the court.
Article 39- It is compulsory to repair divots on the tees and fairways, to repair pitch
marks on the greens (your own and those of other players), to rake the bunkers and
not to throw or drop the flag on the green. The flag must be placed carefully on the
grass and then put back in the hole.
The rake must always be placed on the outer edge of the bunker.
Article 40- The presence of maintenance personnel carrying out their work on the
course must be taken into account in each area of the course.
Article 41- Marshall\/Starter: All players are obliged to follow the instructions of the Marshall\/Starter.

footwear or clubs.

The balls on the practice green are the property of the Club de Golf Son Servera and
may only be used on the practice green. Their use is not permitted on the putting
green or on the course. Likewise, these balls may not be removed from the club.

These sanctions are imposed on members or visitors who violate the regulations
for the USE OF THE COURT, THE TRAINING COURT, COURT MAINTENANCE
REGULATIONS FOR THE USE OF THE COURT.
- 1st offence: The player is given a verbal warning.
- 2nd offence: The player is given a written warning.
- 3rd offence: Decision of the club management after consultation with the
president or vice-president regarding the ban on playing or the ban on entering the
club. This ban is valid for between 1 week and 3 months, depending on the severity.

Article 46- Chapter XVII 'Sanctioning procedure and disciplinary rules' of the
Statutes sets out the procedure for initiating and opening disciplinary proceedings.
Article 47- Offences may be minor, serious or very serious, depending on their
gravity.
Article 48- Minor offences:
- The following actions or behaviour are punished with a verbal or written
warning:
- Disrespectful or inconsiderate behaviour towards members, employees
or strangers.
- Any disruptive behaviour in the club facilities.
- Violation of the hygiene regulations applicable in the facilities
- Offences against the maintenance or cleanliness of the equipment or the
sports or club facilities.
- Using company equipment without authorisation and improperly.
- Driving a motorised vehicle outside the designated zones and parking
vehicles in unsuitable places so as to obstruct access.
- Fail to notify a change of residence or bank account details after being
requested to do so by the Association. In cases where bank charges are
incurred due to unpaid direct debit orders, these charges may be
demanded from the member.
- Refusal to comply with the decisions of the club bodies or the
instructions of a club employees in the performance of their duties.
- Infringements of the rules referred to in articles 21 and 22 after the player
has been cautioned or if his behaviour delays the remaining matches.
- In general, simple infringements of the other regulations mentioned in
articles 18 and 42 are considered minor offences, unless they are by their
nature serious or very serious offences, in which case they are
sanctioned as such.
Article 49- Serious offences:
- The following actions or behaviour are punishable by a minimum onemonth and maximum three-month ban from entering the club area and

using its facilities, with withdrawal of the membership card:
- Involvement in a serious dispute, scandal or assault.
- Insults, serious disrespect and threats against members and club
employees or third parties.
- Negligence, if this results in a risk of accident for oneself or others, or a
serious risk of damage to the facilities.
- Theft of items of low value that are the property of the club, other
members or third parties.
- Wilfully causing slight damage to club property, the property of other
members or third parties.
- Lending the club card or other documents to other persons for the
purpose of faking membership and making control more difficult.
- Changing the content of notice boards, lists or other elements used for
control purposes, etc.
- Refusing to provide the disciplinary committee with information that
could be used to investigate offences committed by other persons.
- Direct or indirect participation in any serious offence.
- Repeating a minor offence, even if it is of a different nature, within a
period of two years.
Article 50- Very serious offences:
- The following acts or behaviour are punishable by a minimum threemonth and maximum two-year ban from entering the club and using its
facilities, with loss of club membership card:
- Verbal or physical abuse, serious recklessness and assault against a
member, club employee or stranger.
- Serious offence against morality.
- Theft or theft of items that are club property, the property of others
members or strangers and that are not included in the minor offences.
- Wilful and serious damage to club property, the property of other
members or third parties.
- Actions that seriously damage the reputation or are contrary to the
interests of Son Servera Golf Club.
- Falsifying or deliberately concealing important information if this causes
serious damage to the club.
- Direct or indirect participation in any very serious offence.
- Repeating a serious offence, even if it is of a different nature, within a
period of two years.
Article 51- In determining the nature of the sanction, the circumstances that led to
the offence shall be taken into account.
Article 52- Any communication, notice or summons sent by ordinary mail with

acknowledgement of receipt to the last place of residence communicated by the
member to the club shall be deemed valid.
Article 53- The person who is deprived of his rights as a result of a sanction shall
remain liable for the payment of ordinary and extraordinary dues levied during this
period. He will not be readmitted to the club until he has paid the dues and any
outstanding dues.
Article 54- The disciplinary rules contained in these basic rules and in the club
regulations are subject to the rules of the current regulation on sports discipline, as
as well as civil or criminal actions that may arise from the courts.
Article 55- The decisions of the club's bodies shall be deemed to have been
sufficiently publicized when they are posted on the clubhouse notice board, except
in cases where there is a requirement for them to be published in another specific
means of communication.
Article 56- These Club Regulations shall enter into force as soon as they have been
approved by the members and the Directorate General for Sport.
